The journey back to health can be a challenge and takes time and patience. However, if you stick with the program…it is amazing how your body can be healed! Most of the people I know will not even consider using naturopathic medicine. I hope my story will help educate people that licensed Naturopathic doctors are extremely educated and help heal the body unlike the conventional doctors I have seen who only treated my symptoms.

 

I was in second grade when my first episode of fainting started. Why I would faint was a mystery to my doctors until I was diagnosed in my thirties with autonomic neuropathy and put on a medication that I was told I would need for the rest of my life. In my teens I had frequent yeast infections and urinary tract infections. During my twenties I was diagnosed with several allergies. In my thirties I started with degenerative disc disease and other back issues. During my forties I was diagnosed with  interstitial cystitis of the bladder and nerve damage in my leg. At that point in my life I frequently visited several doctors: neurologist, urologist, rheumatologist, allergist, gynecologist and primary care physician. I felt like my lifeboat was sinking fast! I could not enjoy even the simplest things in life without pain. My chiropractor suggested I try alternative medicine. While attending an event at the CYO center Dr. Cathy’s father told me that his daughter had moved backed home and was starting her own naturopathic clinic. I had known their family for over 40 years and figured Dr. Cathy would be a doctor I could trust.

 

In 2005 my journey to health and freedom from pain begins… Dr. Cathy started me on supplements and homeopathic medicines as part of my treatment with Biotherapeutic Drainage. We also did a series of Bowen treatments.

 

In only 2 short years I was free of all my prescription medications and all those terrible side effects. In only 4 short years I was back to running, dancing, sewing, working, and simply ENJOYING life again! The last journey I am on is a treatment called “the brain protocol” which re-balances the nervous and glandular systems, and if my body responds well…I may be free of all my allergies.

 

Dr. Cathy was the only one to make a proper assessment of my daughter’s health problems. She also balanced my grandson’s immune system and allergies when he was a newborn baby. My grandson’s mother had to be convinced that her son’s pediatrician was only treating his symptoms and he needed Dr. Cathy’s treatment. After 6 short months my grandson was healthy.

 

I am now in my fifties with a body of a 30 year old a mind of a 20 year old and a thirst for life and adventure! This feeling would not have been possible without Dr. Cathy!
